The Jiyushinkai is an independent group with roots in the teaching methods of: Kano, Mifune, Ueshiba, Tomiki, Ohba, Nishioka, and Miyake senseis. The senior students of the Jiyushinkai are motivated to teach the less experienced how to "stand on their teachers' shoulders" as the saying goes. We all have much to learn from each other.

* Notice *

It has come to our attention that certain individuals that either had brief experience and/or
no contact or connection with Jiyushinkai Aikibudo in the past 15 years are labeling
what they teach as coming from our curriculum. These individuals may or may not be
competent instructors. If you are interested in learning the Jiyushinkai Aikibudo system,
please contact us to find out who is certified and has permission to instruct and teach.
